Responsibilities include advising on regulatory and compliance matters related to solar, energy storage, retail electric supply, and gas supply, participating in regulatory litigation, assisting with compliance counseling, supporting transactional and commercial energy matters, drafting filings and advisories, working on multiple matters with increasing responsibility, collaborating with partners, maintaining client service, and participating in practice initiatives. Candidate requirements include 2+ years’ experience in energy law, experience before a state, advising on Illinois energy regulatory compliance, strong interest in energy law, excellent interpersonal and legal skills, solid academic credentials, ability to manage multiple matters, proactive mindset, and Illinois Bar admission.
