As a personal assistant, you will be part of our clients' valuable stories. At Validia, personal assistance clients are individuals covered by disability services. Personal assistance involves helping with tasks at home or outside the home that the individual cannot perform due to illness or disability. Assistance may include support in hobbies or studies, household chores, or enabling participation in leisure activities. Sometimes, the most important role of the assistant is to be a conversational partner and companion: a relaxed person for the individual. The role of a personal assistant is significant in supporting and enabling clients to live at home as long as possible and to participate actively and meaningfully in life, respecting their independence. This work suits you if you seek variety and flexibility, as work is tailored to the needs and wishes of the client. You will also have the opportunity to influence your shifts in agreement with the client. You work independently and commit to agreed practices. We do not require formal training or experience in the field, but these are considered advantages.
