Security Assistant

We are looking for a Security Assistant for our client Senaatti-kiinteistöt for a practical and responsible six-month fixed-term position. In this role, you will work as part of a close-knit and positive team of approximately 30 security professionals. The Security Services Centre provides Senaatti-kiinteistöt’s customers with security technology-related alarm monitoring and system administration services on a 24/7 basis. As a Security Assistant, you play an important role in ensuring that work requests for the system administration service are handled smoothly and that related administrative tasks are completed on time and carefully. The work is performed on site at the Security Services Centre. Your primary task is handling work requests for the system administration service provided by the Security Services Centre. This includes receiving and processing requests, recording them in systems, and monitoring their progress. Your other duties include: - Processing purchase and sales invoices related to the services - Various office tasks - Mailing materials and other practical arrangements - Providing customer service by phone - Processing and recording information in several different systems In addition to standard office software, the role uses several other systems. There are multiple systems, but in-depth technical expertise is not required; the most important thing is to learn new tools and procedures smoothly. What we expect from you We are looking for someone with a few years of work experience who understands the basics of working life. No specific education or qualification is required, but at least an upper-secondary qualification is considered an advantage. Higher-education or university-of-applied-sciences studies are also a plus. Success in the role requires above all: - Excellent spoken and written Finnish - Excellent customer service and interaction skills - A careful and precise approach to work - The ability to learn to use several different systems - Good IT skills - The ability to work smoothly on routine and repetitive tasks As the work includes many repetitive tasks, the role is best suited to someone who likes clear processes and practical work. You do not need to constantly develop new procedures or solve complex specialist problems. What matters is completing assigned tasks accurately, efficiently and reliably. Previous experience using access-control systems or working in the security sector is a significant advantage. Experience with purchase or sales ledger processes and systems is also considered an advantage. A security guard card is useful in the role, but not having one does not prevent you from applying. The work will begin once a suitable person is found. The selected candidate will be given a six-month fixed-term employment contract, although the employment may continue after that.
