Maintenance Technician

Sandvik Mining and Construction Finland Oy is a provider for the mining and contracting industry. Our offerings include high-quality equipment, comprehensive aftermarket services and technical solutions in drilling, crushing and screening, loading and hauling, as well as rock construction. The sales company employs about 100 people with sites in Vantaa, Lohja, Nokia, Kajaani and Tornio. We are now seeking a technically capable and solution-oriented maintenance technician for our Tornio team to ensure peak performance of our customers' equipment. What will you do? You will service and repair underground drilling, loading and hauling equipment at customer sites and the Tornio office. You will participate in deliveries and commissioning of new equipment. You will train customers in the use and maintenance of the equipment. You will provide technical support and resolve issues – ensuring the best possible functionality of the equipment. What do we expect from you? Experience in maintenance of mobile equipment (heavy transport equipment, earthmoving machines). Independent and meticulous work approach and good interpersonal skills. Basic IT skills and a desire to develop your expertise. Suitable technical training (e.g. heavy machinery, automation or electrical). Electrical qualification S3 and English language skills are an advantage. Sandvik is committed to ensuring health and work capacity for all employees.
