Production Worker

We are seeking a production worker for Rex’s Hartola factory on a permanent basis. Rex is a Finnish company founded in 1952 and is a producer of ski waxes and lubrication and maintenance products for cycling. Our first product was the candle nozzle for the Helsinki Olympics torch. Since then Rex products have earned many international competition medals and are used at the highest levels of cycling today. Over more than 70 years we have built strong expertise around performance of sports equipment. When a person skis or cycles, Rex products clean, lubricate and maintain equipment for optimal performance. We develop and manufacture our products ourselves in Hartola. In recent years we have heavily invested in production methods and automation, and we are currently implementing a new modern and highly automated bottling line. In this role you will participate broadly in the production of ski waxes, cycling lubrication products, detergents and other Rex products. Your duties include: operating production equipment and the automated bottling line; dosing raw materials, mixing and other production according to work instructions; preparing production runs and changing machine settings; monitoring quality and daily cleaning and maintenance of equipment; participating in improving work methods and production. The job requires meticulousness, initiative, technical interest and the ability to learn new things. Prior experience in production, machine operation or manufacturing industry is beneficial but not required. The most important thing is to work accurately and responsibly, follow work instructions precisely and want to understand the equipment and processes you use. You will receive thorough onboarding.
