About the role

As a Marine Laundry Equipment Technician in our Lifecycle Services Division, you will be responsible for executing and supervising service interventions on board ships, with a focus on ALMACO’s professional laundry. This role requires hands-on technical expertise, strong organization skills, and a customer-oriented approach. Key Responsibilities: Conduct onboard visits to evaluate technical issues and assist customers in clearly expressing their needs. Coordinate with Maintenance Coordinators to plan and prepare service interventions. Perform maintenance and service tasks on ALMACO’s professional laundry systems installed on board, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operation. Provide onboard training to crew and maintenance staff for safe and proper use of laundry equipment. Support Spare Parts and Product Divisions with technical feedback and collaboration. Contribute to the improvement and expansion of Lifecycle Services tools, including maintenance kit databases, installation kits, digital documentation, reports, and planning tools. Requirements: Mechanical / Electrical diploma or equivalent technical education. Solid hands-on experience in maintaining professional laundry systems installed on board cruise ships, including washers, dryers, ironing and pressing equipment, and related automated handling setups. Communicative level of English, both spoken and written. Good interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset. Customer service focus with problem-solving ability. Familiarity with quality standards and maintenance procedures. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Project.
