Waiter/Waitress

We are looking for a restaurant worker to join the good food team responsible for supplying meals at the field kitchen Tähden in Sodankylä. The army does not march on an empty stomach and food plays a key role in the soldiers’ endurance. You and your colleagues in the field kitchen play a pivotal role in ensuring soldiers can perform their service. In addition to serving, the lunch table is also laid for Defence personnel. As a restaurant worker you will handle customer service in the hall, housekeeping and dishwashing, and ensure compliance with hygiene requirements and standards. No prior restaurant experience or training is required, but it is considered an advantage in the selection process. Work primarily Monday–Sunday between 06:00 and 20:00. Employment begins as soon as a suitable person is found. The employment relationship will start on a fixed-term basis with a view to availability. Your pay will follow MaRaTES guidelines at 12.21–13.58 €/h plus potential supplements depending on your training and experience. The job is arranged between StaffPoint and the employee.
