Department Manager

We are seeking a capable Department Manager for our Riihimäki Biltema store. The role entails full responsibility for the department’s operations, including commercial direction and development of sales, merchandising, cleanliness, and maintaining stock levels. You will be part of the store’s leadership team and will be responsible for the store’s operations on your shifts. Requirements include experience in retail management or supervisory roles in grocery or grocery-related settings, strong people skills, the ability to work independently, organizational talent, flexibility, resilience under pressure, and a willingness to take initiative. Interest and competence in department duties are advantageous. Availability for morning, evening, and weekend shifts is required. Salary is in accordance with the Retail Collective Agreement, ranging from 2101–2389 EUR per month, with an additional 5% department-head allowance; evening and weekend supplements are paid according to hours worked.
