Job Description Let’s Talk about the Role The NPI Leader – FACTS Solution Line will serve as the strategic bridge between market innovation and industrial execution for our Flexible AC Transmission Systems portfolio. You will orchestrate the end-to-end New Product Introduction (NPI) lifecycle, ensuring our STATCOM and FSC solutions are not only technologically advanced but also scalable, cost-competitive, and perfectly aligned with customer needs. Partnering closely with the Value Proposition Leader, you will shape the future of our product roadmap, lead high-performing technical teams, and drive the transition from concept to industrialized, world-class grid solutions. How You Will Make a Difference - Leading global NPI programs for STATCOM and FSC, ensuring technical roadmaps are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. - Translating complex market requirements into actionable technical specifications and scalable product platforms. - Driving the transition from technology development to industrialized, repeatable products designed for manufacturability and cost-efficiency. - Architecting modular product strategies to ensure our global reference solutions remain agile, competitive, and highly reusable. - Fostering a culture of technical rigor, continuous learning, and "Closed-Loop Engineering" by integrating field experience back into product design. - Championing Lean and Agile methodologies to accelerate time-to-market while maintaining our commitment to uncompromising safety and integrity. Skills for Success You should be a technical leader who combines strategic vision with hands-on execution capabilities, equipped with: - The ability to act as a technical authority who fluently communicates across Power Electronics and Power Systems disciplines. - The capability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and navigate complex, global matrixed environments. - An understanding of NPI governance, including gate reviews and risk mitigation techniques like DFMEA. - An expertise in delivering high-stakes, complex product programs in grid-scale power conversion technologies. - A formal education in Electrical or Electronics Engineering is nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements.
