Forestry Specialist

Forestry expert wanted to join the Western Finland forestry team in Hämeenlinna for a fixed-term contract from 1 Oct 2026 to 31 Dec 2027, with starting date negotiable. The role includes diverse forest management planning tasks such as planning harvest blocks, various silvicultural and nature conservation works, and coordinating different uses of forests while applying modern planning methods. You will also be responsible for the condition of the local road network. The workplace is Hämeenlinna. A suitable forestry university degree is required; work experience and IT skills are considered an advantage. Good collaboration, a constructive and independent work attitude, and willingness to move in the field are needed.
