About the role

What you will work on: Acting as the primary contact for customers from deployment through daily use. Providing technical support and training so customers can adopt and use Cadmatic Outfitting effectively in their projects. Advising customers on practical use of Cadmatic Outfitting in piping, machinery layout, and outfitting design workflows. Solving technical questions and troubleshooting complex issues in daily use. Running training sessions both remotely and at customer sites. Participating in the sales process as a technical software expert and delivering software demonstrations. Turning customer feedback into clear and actionable input for product development. What helps you succeed in this role: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. A marine, mechanical, or shipbuilding-related background is preferred. 3+ years of practical experience in shipbuilding, outfitting design, engineering, and/or 3D CAD. Strong understanding of the U.S. marine industry, with additional value placed on naval environment experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience in customer service or client-facing roles. Strong ability to build trusted relationships with customers and cross-functional stakeholders. Basic programming knowledge (for instance C++) is considered a plus. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role. What do we offer: Full-time work (40 hours per week). Flexible working hours and remote work. The role requires regular visits to customer premises. Paid Time Off: 20 days of paid time off (PTO) per year. Medical insurance. 401(k) retirement plan. Travel expense coverage for customers and Cadmatic premises according to our global travel policy. Compensation: Annual base salary of $85,000–$100,000 plus a variable bonus, with on-target earnings (OTE) of $102,000–$120,000. This salary range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this position, and the final offer may vary within the range depending on the work location, work experience, and the level of expertise in shipbuilding or marine engineering.
