About the role

Full-time/Part-time · Permanent · Berlin, DE. Mogli is building an AI-powered operating system that enables renewable energy developers to automate back-office workflows, extract insights from messy data, and make faster, smarter decisions — ultimately accelerating project realization at scale. We’re an early-stage climate tech startup with a small, ambitious team. That means you’ll have real ownership from day one, work across strategy and execution, and help shape both the product and the company as we grow. How you can contribute to Mogli As a Product Manager, you’ll work directly with the founders to turn messy, real-world inputs — documents, workflows, stakeholder conversations — into structured product logic and intuitive user experiences. This is not a traditional design role. You won’t just design interfaces; you’ll help define what the product should do, based on a deep understanding of user problems, data structures, and what AI can realistically enable. We’re looking for someone who sits at the intersection of product, UX, and technical thinking — someone who can take raw insights and turn them into clear systems, workflows, and product decisions. As a Product Manager, you will: Turn chaos into structure Work with raw customer inputs (documents, calls, workflows) and translate them into structured insights, product requirements, and system logic. Shape the product from first principles Define workflows, abstractions, and UX patterns for how renewable energy developers interact with data and AI. Design AI-native experiences Create interfaces that make AI automation understandable, controllable, and trustworthy. Bridge product and engineering Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure what we design is grounded in technical reality — and push the boundaries of what’s possible. Own the end-to-end experience From early discovery and problem framing to prototyping and polished UX. Build our product foundation Establish principles, interaction patterns, and design systems for a scalable, data-heavy product. Prototype and iterate fast Use Figma, lightweight code, or AI tools to quickly test ideas with users and refine based on feedback. This is how you and your application stand out You’re a hybrid thinker — part product manager, part designer, part systems thinker. You have 3+ years of experience in product, UX, or similar roles — ideally in energy, construction, SaaS, or data-heavy environments. You think in systems, workflows, and abstractions, not just screens. You have a strong intuition for what technology (especially AI) can and cannot do — and design accordingly. You’re curious and hands-on with users — you want to understand how they actually work. You can prototype quickly (Figma, code, or AI vibe coding tools). You thrive in small, fast-moving teams. You’re fluent in English, and German is a strong plus, as you will need to understand customer pain points and conduct interviews with German-speaking users when necessary. You’re based in, or willing to relocate to, Berlin. Why Mogli Positive impact — Build something that matters. Every step forward directly shapes Mogli’s trajectory and accelerates the energy transition. Steep learning curve — Compress years of experience into an interdisciplinary, customer-facing role at a VC-backed energy tech startup. Strong ecosystem — Join us in our office in the heart of Berlin next to the Spree river, surrounded by other high-potential early-stage startup teams. Company participation — As an early member of our team, you’ll help shape the foundation of Mogli and benefit from the financial upside accordingly.
