Planning Engineer

We are looking for a Planning Engineer to the Infrastructure implementation planning unit on a permanent contract starting 1 October 2026. The Planning Engineer independently handles street and street construction design tasks (design drawings, work specifications, safety appendices, quantity lists, and cost estimates) and acts as the design coordinator. The role will commission street and street construction designs as a consultant and function as a designer-expert on site during construction, also preparing necessary modification plans within the field. A suitable university degree or an equivalent polytechnic degree and good experience in street design are required. Proficiency in Finnish (written and spoken) is necessary, and willingness to guide design projects. Knowledge of BIM is an asset.
