Keimolanmäen koulu is hiring a fixed-term class teacher for a 2nd-grade class from 14.09.2026 to 05.06.2027. The role includes close pre-primary and primary education cooperation. Our small school of about 160 students is a ProKoulu committed to positive pedagogy: we teach and strengthen behavioral skills and focus on emotional and interaction skills. We work closely with the kindergarten in the same building and have active Esikko activities. You will have a named mentor. Students' wishes: Be nice, kind, and have a sense of humor; create a safe, friendly, and calm atmosphere. Colleagues' wishes: Plan and implement together; notice the good and appreciate each other. Expectations: Expertise in teaching emotional and interaction skills; warm and caring educational approach, solution-focused work, and flexibility; strong group management skills; language-aware pedagogy; excellent interaction and team skills.
