Head Coach

We are looking for a dedicated full-time head coach to lead FC Lahti women's first team. The role includes serving as the head coach of the women’s first team, contributing to the coaching staff for FC Lahti's T18 team as an additional duty, leading morning training sessions as agreed, and monitoring the Helmari League (Eerikkilä T4–5) where possible. Final responsibilities and task details will be agreed with the selected candidate. We offer a professional and ambitious environment with strong support, a full-time and competitive contract, a clear player pathway from our junior system to the first team, and an opportunity to influence the club’s women’s football project and strategy through 2028. We expect you to bring strong football knowledge and understanding of the game, UEFA B license (A or Pro considered an asset), experience coaching competitive football at adults or older youth levels, and leadership that is developmental and people-focused. Excellent communication and collaboration with other actors in the club, strategic planning, data-driven leadership, and long-term commitment are required. The contract is for 2+2 years, aligned with the club’s 2028 strategy cycle. The role will be based in Lahti and the start date will be when the season changes.
