Manufacturing Worker (Metalworking Professional or Newcomer)

Joros Oy is seeking a manufacturing worker for permanent work in Punkaharju. Your duties will depend on your previous skills and interests, and you can work either in tube bending or in varied component manufacturing tasks. Joros Oy is a metalworking company established in 1983 and one of the Nordic countries’ leading experts in tube bending. The Punkaharju factory designs and manufactures tube components, structures and products based on bent tubing for the needs of various industries. More than 50 professionals work at Joros in modern production facilities covering 5,500 m². JOB DESCRIPTION You will work in production manufacturing metal products and parts. Your duties will depend on your previous skills and interests: Tube bending – you will work with tube bending using CNC-controlled machines. Previous CNC experience is an advantage. Good technical aptitude and the ability to visualise three-dimensional parts are also helpful. Component manufacturing – varied metal-part manufacturing and finishing work, such as sawing, grinding, drilling holes and tapping threads. Previous metalworking experience is not essential for these tasks; training will be provided. At Joros, the different stages of production are largely carried out under one roof, from cutting and bending materials to assembly, welding, finishing and quality assurance. This makes the work varied and offers the opportunity to learn new tasks as the work progresses. OTHER DETAILS The employment is permanent and full-time. Working hours are generally Monday to Friday, 6:00–14:30. We also hope you are willing to work an evening shift.
