A leading healthcare-focused service provider is seeking an experienced Area Manager to lead multiple eldercare client operations in the Senior & Care segment. The role is based in Helsinki with travel, and involves developing the service delivery, ensuring quality and profitability of meal and dining services, and driving business growth. You will lead and develop your area’s business, customer relationships, and service delivery in line with our strategy. You will manage customer relationships as a strategic partner in nutrition, dining experience, and service development; coach and support managers, ensure staff performance, safety, and engagement; develop operating models, service processes, and customer experience in collaboration with support functions and operational teams; advance responsible food service activities including waste reduction, responsible procurement, and sustainability goals. Requirements include a suitable university degree or equivalent; strong track record in leading meal services for older adults and other special groups, production kitchen operations and various production methods; experience in leading cleaning services or a willingness to train to lead cleaning service contracts; experience in managing large service agreements and long-term customer relationships; at least 3 years of supervisory experience and ability to lead multi-site service business; knowledge of nutrition guidelines, special diets, food safety, and food service processes; customer-focused, goal-oriented, results-driven approach; familiarity with HR and food production control systems; fluency in Finnish and English; willingness to travel nationwide; and a valid driver’s license.
