Rukapalvelu Oy, founded in 1987, provides customers with unforgettable nature experiences, accommodation services and restaurant operations, and also runs unique wilderness camps in Kammi and Pohjanseida where catering and event activities take place in the wilderness. We are now looking for a Grill Cook for Zone Restaurant in Ruka for the season. Zone Restaurant is located in Ruka village and is a casual breakfast and lunch restaurant, which also offers evening entertainment. It serves customers year-round, so the work environment is lively and fast-paced. The successful candidate will have some kitchen experience and be able to participate in kitchen operations beyond grilling, though the main focus is on grill dishes. The role involves preparing both breakfast and lunch; the selected person should be able to participate in other kitchen tasks as needed. Requirements include good Finnish and English language skills, hygiene and serving passes. We value professionalism and a positive attitude, as well as good organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure. The selected person has the opportunity to participate in two seasons: autumn and winter. The autumn season runs from early September to October; the winter season runs from November to Easter 2027. This is a great opportunity to work in a beautiful setting in Ruka and be part of a team that appreciates kitchen expertise and professional development.
