Waiter for the Christmas Season

Are you the WAITER we are looking for? Snowhotel Family is a family-owned company offering unique experiences among snow and ice in the Rovaniemi area and Santa Claus Village. Glass igloos and a snow hotel with its restaurants provide a memorable overnight experience amid the northern lights and nature on the shores of Lake Lehtojärvi. Snowman World, located in Santa Claus Village, invites the whole family to enjoy winter activities in a snowy playground built from snow and ice. Santa Claus Village is also home to Piparina’s charming gingerbread cabins and atmospheric restaurant, where visitors can sample authentic Lapland flavours and relax in private gingerbread cabins during the day. Snowman World is Santa Claus Village’s most fun playground, where the day passes quickly with lively winter activities. The area has snow and ice slides, an ice rink, a snow maze, a snow restaurant and an ice bar. The snow restaurant, ice bar and café-restaurant serve a wide selection of food, drinks and café products every day. We are now looking for waiters for the busy Christmas season at Snowman World. As part of a skilled and international team, you will serve customers locally inspired delicacies as plated dishes according to their orders. Your duties also include recommending and selling food and drinks and ensuring customer satisfaction through your own contribution throughout each customer’s visit, both in the ice restaurant and the indoor restaurant. Full-time work is available (112.5 hours/3 weeks) from late November until Epiphany. Part-time work according to your availability is also possible. You must be ready to work weekdays, weekends and public holidays. The employment terms follow the collective agreement for the tourism and restaurant sector, and pay is based on skills and experience. The employment contract is made between Bondata and the employee; accommodation in Rovaniemi can be arranged if needed.
