Finnpilot’s pilotage center in Helsinki handles piloting across Finland 24/7, every day of the year. The pilotage broker role includes receiving pilot orders and preliminary information from vessels and their representatives operating on Finnish territorial waters, planning and organizing smooth and safe piloting movements according to orders, and maintaining and developing the piloting process. You are the right person if you are proactive, customer‑oriented, have good organizational skills, and can handle pressure in a sometimes hectic work environment. In addition you should have good language skills (Finnish and English; Swedish knowledge is an advantage) and basic IT literacy. Maritime knowledge is an asset for performing the duties. We offer an interesting and challenging role in the maritime sector, training in the tools used, and a supportive work community. Finnpilot’s piloting center is located in Ruoholahti, Helsinki on Tammasaarenkatu. The job is performed at the workplace. Salary and terms of employment are determined by the piloting industry collective agreement. A pre‑employment medical check and a drug test will be conducted for the chosen candidate.
