Join Vantaa as an Early Childhood Social Worker in Ylästön day care. You will be part of a multi-professional team planning, implementing and evaluating pedagogical activities, and you will be responsible for co-operating with families on upbringing and wellbeing of children. The role involves promoting inclusion, community, and child and family well-being, and guiding children, families and guardians. You will work in a 2–4-year-old group at Ylästö day care, collaborating with a preschool teacher and a childminder, and help develop services and new practices from a well-being and community perspective. The unit uses an inclusive leadership model and aims to create a collaborative, encouraging and engaged work environment. We value flexibility, positivity and teamwork, and expect you to listen to children with sensitivity and remain present in everyday moments. The position is permanent with start on 01.09.2026 or by agreement. The day care hosts 17 early childhood professionals and varying auxiliary staff, and is part of a three-day-care unit led by co-acting managers focusing on staff and pedagogy.
