Early Years Teacher

Perhon municipality is advertising a full-time position for an Early Years Teacher at Mäntymetsä Daycare. The role includes leading the pedagogical work of the team, planning, implementing, developing, and evaluating pedagogical activities. You should be able to collaborate with children, guardians, the staff, and possibly a multidisciplinary team. We value initiative, a positive and flexible attitude, and experience in early childhood education. Qualifications are defined by the Youth Act on Early Childhood Education (540/2018) or transitional provision (75§). Bachelor-level studies in Education with professional modules in early childhood education or social welfare study tracks totaling at least 60 ECTS are required. The selected candidate must present a criminal background check for working with children and a medical certificate. A six-month trial period applies. Employment terms follow OVTES. Interviews will be conducted at Mäntymetsä Daycare on 2 September 2026. Work commences on 7 September 2026 or by agreement.
