Healthcare Assistant

We are seeking six (6) healthcare assistants for the Pohjanmaan hyvinvointialue, initially placed at Krannila Service Housing, Vaasa. Krannila is a home for the elderly who require around-the-clock help and guidance with daily activities. The home is a place where one can pursue meaningful holistic well-being. Our starting point is to provide elderly clients with high-quality, person-centered, safe daily life and routines. The primary task of the healthcare assistant at Krannila is to take care of the clients’ overall well-being, supporting their own resources and promoting their functional capacity. Our clients wish the healthcare assistant to be empathetic, responsible and patient. Our work community expects professional competence, a positive work attitude and reliability. Krannilan clients and the work community also offer the healthcare assistant meaningful work, a stable and safe work environment, opportunities to grow in the job and a good work community where one does valuable work. The job is three-shift work. After the application period ends, those invited to interview should bring original certificates of degrees and work documents. Eligibility: A degree as a healthcare assistant or a qualification under Regulation 564/1994 or 153/2016. Satisfactory oral and written skills in both national languages of the country. Those who have completed a healthcare assistant degree are expected to be registered in the authorities’ registers Terhikki and Suosikki. The selected candidate must have valid vaccination protection under the Infectious Diseases Act and present a police certificate. A probationary period applies.
