Responsibilities
- Serve as sparring partner for management and employees; translate strategies into practice
- Ensure teams collaborate well and managers grow in their roles
- Roll out HR policies and improve HR processes
- Support and coach leaders in daily personnel questions
- Drive talent development and succession planning
- Consult with the works council to ensure a good social climate
- Work on remuneration policy, absence management, job structures and leadership training
- Contribute to implementing the new HR Operating Model and participate in HR transformation within Outokumpu
- Collaborate with international HR teams, especially colleagues in Germany
- Develop and shape local HR processes aligned to site needs Westdorpe/Terneuzen
Requirements
- Master’s degree or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in HR, preferably in international or manufacturing settings
- Knowledge of Dutch employment law (including the sickness act) and WOR experience
- Strong communication, coaching and stakeholder management skills
- Natural affinity for informal leadership; ability to persuade and elevate managers
- Fluent English; German is a plus
