Join us in building the future of disability services. We are currently seeking a Unit Manager for the Mikkeli Validia-talo. The unit is undergoing a major reform of culture and operating methods, and we are looking for an experienced leadership figure in social and health care who enjoys development and can implement changes in practice. Key duties include strengthening the operating culture, developing collaboration, and building common operating procedures with staff. The Unit Manager will lead day-to-day operations close to people: staff, clients and their family members. You will be responsible for the unit’s operational and financial goals, service quality, and the wellbeing and smooth daily life of staff and clients. The 37-bed, round-the-clock residential unit at Mikkelin Validia-talo serves clients with disabilities, injuries, and neurological conditions, and aims to enable a dignified, high-quality, safe everyday life for them. What we expect from you: a social and health care AMK degree and leadership training; strong experience in supervision; experience in management of social and health services. You have a track record of leading work communities and developing operating culture, with the ability to build trust in challenging situations. You can set a clear direction, engage staff in shared goals, and lead decisively toward lasting change. You combine firm leadership with a people-oriented approach and strong presence in everyday work. Why us?
