
Process Group Manager
Avesta Process Group Manager for Finishing (L2000/L13) leads and develops the finishing sub-assembly line in collaboration with the Production Manager KBR and acts as deputy when needed. The day-to-day role links operations and maintenance, participates in planning and prioritising actions within the area of responsibility, and, if required, in other parts of the KBR. The work schedule is continuous daytime with a rotating pattern covering weekends and holidays for two people, typically 06:00–16:00 with flex time. The role spans from safety and environment to people leadership, ensuring stable production, quality, and continuous improvement, and driving implementation of Outokumpu’s management system. Responsibilities include: full accountability for the production subsection and team, planning and coordinating work, safeguarding health, safety and environmental compliance, following and developing instructions and procedures, driving improvement initiatives, coordinating resources, actively developing the team, and leading both planned and unplanned stoppages. Requirements include an engineering education (e.g., materials technology or mechanical engineering) or equivalent process-industry experience, production experience (preferably in heavy industry), prior leadership experience, and proficiency in English (spoken and written). The candidate should be analytical, practical, and responsive, with a clear safety and quality focus, structured and responsible, and capable of collaboration and clear communication. Requirements
