Taxi driver

We are looking for energetic and responsible taxi drivers for full-time and part-time positions in the Helsinki metropolitan area. Helsingin Taksipalvelu Oy is a family-owned taxi company operating in Helsinki for over 40 years, employing about 150 professional drivers. Our offices and some of our vehicles are located close to Helsinki Airport, with a taxi garage also in Pasila. All are well connected by public transport and there is always parking for your own car during the shift. Our fleet currently includes Menevä electric vehicles (Audi Q4 e-tron, Peugeot Traveller passenger vans) and many accessible minibuses. Shifts can be arranged to suit the situation and mode of dispatch, including day, evening, and night shifts on weekdays and weekends, depending on what suits you best. Through our company you can specialize in Menevä rides or take part in a variety of other assignments such as Taxi Helsinki, Helsinki Travel Services (hybrids and direct control), Keusote VPL/SHL runs (also weekend daytime direct control), Western Uusimaa LUVN runs, Kela runs, and other contract rides. School runs are available in Helsinki and Nurmijärvi. The job requires a B-class driving license, a valid taxi driving permit, and an approved Menevä driving authorization (group 1 or group 3). Prior experience moving around the Helsinki region, advanced training for special needs groups, first-aid training, and licensing for various dispatch centers are advantageous. We also support and guide taxi driver training and employment; feel free to contact us even if you do not yet have a taxi driving permit. We will help and guide you in obtaining it and completing Menevä authorization. Note that all taxi driving permit requirements must be met.
