Mehiläinen is recruiting personal assistants for hourly work in Heinola, for Mehiläinen Kotipalvelut. What does the job involve? As a personal assistant, your duties include helping customers with everyday tasks such as housekeeping, shopping, and activities outside the home. The job is low-stress and you can concretely improve the client’s everyday life. We do not require prior experience in assisting; attitude matters. We hire mainly on weekdays for shifts in Heinola, and we take your preferences into account to find assignments with good transport connections. We also aim to match long-term, familiar clients for each worker. We expect reliability and the ability to commit to care work long-term. Applicants must be of legal age, speak Finnish (at least level B1), be reliable, proactive, and have a friendly and customer-oriented attitude. In the recruitment process, a criminal record check is required for working with the elderly and disabled. Tuberculosis screening is required for those meeting THL risk criteria. In the gig arrangement, additional holiday pay of 9% of the hourly wage is paid.
