This job posting is for a permanent position as an early childhood educator at Tiedonjyvän päiväkoti, part of the City of Vantaa. The daycare opened in Jokiniemi learning campus in 2021 and is located with good transport connections near Hiekkaharju and Tikkurila rail stations. The successful candidate will work in the daycare’s home base with one group of children, in a space designed for acoustics, activity differentiation, and interaction across ages. The role is part of a team of three educators; we listen to your preferences regarding the child group. The new daycare aims to build a warm, playful, and safe operating culture, with a calm, warm, and truly present learning environment. We participate in ProVaka (group-based positive pedagogy) and expect an enthusiastic approach to developing positive pedagogy.
