Havukallion päiväkoti in Vantaa seeks a permanent Early Childhood Teacher starting 1 September 2026. The daycare is located in a nature‑rich, forested residential area with good transport links. Our environment emphasizes interaction, play, and language development, and we actively use the local surroundings to support learning. The unit runs five groups and has recently renovated spaces for collaborative work with other staff. We value inclusive, warm, and playful daily routines and strive to support each child individually, recognizing strengths and encouraging growth. Pedagogy focuses on emotional and social skills and language development. The unit also includes an enrichment model (ProVaka) and supports student teachers on field practice. We offer a supportive professional community and opportunities to contribute to development and leadership discussions. We expect a sensitive, warm approach to children, good teamwork, flexibility, and commitment to high‑quality pedagogy. Requirements include strong Finnish language skills (spoken and written). A successful candidate will join a friendly, collaborative team; recruitment may conclude before the deadline if a suitable candidate is found.
