Teaching qualifications are determined by the regulation no 986/98 of eligibility requirements for the teaching staff. In accordance with section 9, a basic education teacher must have excellent oral and written Finnish. We also consider non‑eligible applicants for fixed-term roles. The candidate must demonstrate good cooperation and group-management skills and a responsible and proactive approach for the welfare of the entire work community. In addition, ability to accommodate diverse learners in practical teaching is required. The selected candidate must produce a criminal background check as required by §6.2 of the Criminal Records Act. We value experience in teaching S2 students.
