Dental Nurse

We are seeking a dental nurse for a full-time temporary position at our Oulu service point. The role starts 1 Oct 2026 or by agreement and lasts until 23 Apr 2027. In student health care we provide oral health services, including health guidance visits and examination and treatment of teeth and mouth. Our aim is to embed regular oral health checks into students’ routines and support independent self-care while reducing dental fear. Your duties include assessing treatment need, service guidance, counselling, appointment scheduling and instrument maintenance. Your supervisor is the head of student health services. You will work with dentists, dental hygienists, dental nurses and clerical staff. Our patient information systems are Acute and WinHit. Our digital service platform is BeeHealth’s YTHSDigi. Previous work experience is an asset (including instrument maintenance) and good Finnish and sufficient English language skills. We value teamwork and communication skills. The role’s base pay follows the level of required responsibilities, plus any special allowances. In the full-time dental nurse position (38h 35min/week) (VR3), the pay is 2609–2896 EUR per month depending on skill and experience.
