About Buffer Buffer is a fully distributed team, and we hire and work from all over the world. This role is part of Buffer's Growth Marketing team. You’ll own growth engineering projects end-to-end, from localization frameworks to referral program logic, attribution systems, and tracking infrastructure. You’ll build features on Buffer's marketing site, create benchmarks and calculators, and shape marketing platform capabilities. You’ll drive experimentation, maintain integrations with Segment, GTM, Mixpanel, and BigQuery, participate in on-call rotations, and contribute to engineering culture. You’ll collaborate with the Marketing team and leaders across the organization, including the Head of Engineering Operations and the Director of Growth Marketing. You’ll work remotely with asynchronous communication and a focus on shipping fast with quality.

Responsibilities
- Own growth engineering projects end-to-end, from localization to referral systems and tracking infrastructure
- Build features on marketing site, landing pages, interactive tools, and conversion flows
- Shape marketing platform capabilities with A/B testing infrastructure and SEO tooling
- Drive experimentation and optimization; balance speed with quality
- Maintain integrations with marketing tech stack and participate in on-call rotation
- Collaborate across engineering, design, and marketing to raise the bar for frontend work
Requirements
- Strong frontend foundations in React, TypeScript, and modern web development
- Willingness to go beyond frontend into backend logic, API routes, and integrations
- Experience with SEO, analytics, A/B testing, and conversion optimization
- Ability to work remotely and communicate across teams
- Experience with AI in user-facing marketing features is a plus
- Familiarity with Buffer or content creation is a plus
