About the role

We are building something new together. We are seeking two skilled and motivated nurses for permanent positions on the demanding rehabilitation ward 4C at Jorvi Hospital, moving to new, modern facilities in September. Tasks start on 1 October 2026 or as agreed. The ward handles subacute spinal cord injury patients who are referred for multi-professional continued rehabilitation mainly from the Uusimaa wellbeing services and the South Finland cooperation area. Nursing work is diverse, demanding and professionally rewarding. We offer excellent opportunities to develop broad nursing expertise as part of a knowledgeable team. As a nurse you are responsible for the comprehensive nursing care of your assigned patients and for delivering high-quality care tailored to each patient’s individual needs. Your work is varied and responsible. You plan, implement and evaluate nursing care independently, but in close collaboration with the rest of the multi-professional team. You are an active part of the multi-professional work community and ensure the best possible care and rehabilitation in cooperation with physicians and other experts. The work is on three shifts. We value an enthusiastic and development-oriented approach, good interaction skills and the ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds. We look forward to previous experience and/or knowledge of spinal cord injury patient care. We offer a good and encouraging working atmosphere where the driving force is genuine. New, functional facilities support smooth everyday life and high-quality care. At HUS you are not alone; you will have the backing of a skilled, committed and supportive team. HUS provides diverse and staff-supporting benefits. The internal medicine and rehabilitation division hosts a health and recreation group that arranges and provides a variety of events and community activities. An ePassi benefit is available for commuting, exercise, massage and cultural services. Employee discounts to fitness centers and wellbeing services. In addition, HUS offers rental company accommodation for its staff. The task salary is 3,218.18 €/month and may include experience and other supplements. We’d love to hear more about you – please submit a strong application and CV and tell us about your competences. Interviews will be held on 18 September 2026. At HUS you are part of the most impactful care. Eligibility: Licensed nurse. Language requirements: Finnish good spoken and written, and Swedish acceptable spoken and written, or Swedish good spoken and written and Finnish acceptable. We require vaccination against infectious diseases under the Infectious Diseases Act and medical clearance regarding tuberculosis for healthcare personnel.
