We are looking for an open, cooperative and patient-centered nursing professional who thrives in varied situations and wants to contribute to high-quality patient care. In our unit, you will influence patient care pathways and the ongoing development of the ward together with experienced professionals. Welcome to help us build even better care for our patients! Information about us: the ward is a 28-bed vascular surgery inpatient unit that treats patients coming for diagnostics, procedures and surgeries both planned and emergency, with multidisciplinary collaboration. We value learning and continuous development, and our unit includes a teaching unit supporting student guidance and a positive learning culture. Typical duties include: vascular imaging with contrast, angioplasties and stenting; bypass surgeries of leg arteries; dialysis filter procedures; treatment of vascular surgical infections. You will have the opportunity to deepen expertise in challenging specialized care, particularly wound care and management of acute patient situations, with support from experienced colleagues. Our unit is known for a good working atmosphere, strong community, learning culture and patient satisfaction. Nurse tasks on our ward: responsible for nursing care before and after surgery; patient instruction, wound care, medication administration and rehabilitative nursing; work in an multidisciplinary team with physiotherapists and other professionals; ensure safe discharge and smooth follow-up care. We offer an open, immediate and supportive work community with leadership from head nurse, administrative assistant head nurse and teaching nurse who support your daily work and professional development. We use a communal, activity-driven shift planning system to influence your own shifts. Qualifications: Registered nurse. Finnish language skills at good spoken and written level and Swedish at satisfactory level, or Swedish good and Finnish satisfactory. Vaccination against contagious diseases is required for patient and ward settings; health clearance for tuberculosis is required for healthcare workers.
