Child Day Care Worker

Päiväkoti Engel is a private kindergarten founded in 1993 and located in the southern part of Helsinki. It consists of four small, cozy kindergartens close to each other: Engel Viiskulma, Engel Huvila, Engel Seppä and Engel Albert. Our kindergartens foster a warm, communal and encouraging atmosphere with a skilled and ambitious workforce. WE ARE NOW LOOKING FOR ENGEL SEPPÄ DAYCARE ASSISTANT/EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION CHILDCARE WORKER! As a daycare assistant you are responsible for the daycare's cleaning, heating of lunch, preparation of snacks, and other kitchen tasks. The role may also include working with children in a group as an early childhood education childcare worker when needed. Our daycare is small, cozy and warm. The position requires excellent Finnish language skills and a hygiene certificate. The selected person must have the qualifications of an early childhood education childcare worker and fluent Finnish. The selected person must present a valid criminal record extract for work with children before signing the employment contract (Act on background checks for people working with children 504/2002).
