We are seeking a temporary geospatial information expert to join HSY in the Ilmala region, Helsinki, for a fixed-term between 1 Oct 2026 and 30 Jun 2027. The role involves maintaining regional geospatial services, producing and publishing datasets such as SeutuData, and engaging with unit stakeholders and communications. The work will be tailored based on your expertise and experience. You should be proactive, enjoy precise, compliant work, and collaborate well in a team. Requirements include a university degree, experience in geospatial production relating to the built environment, good communication and interpersonal skills, willingness to learn and develop, and strong Finnish and English language skills. A Master’s degree in geography or geoinformatics is an advantage; other suitable university qualifications are acceptable. Additional familiarity with HSY’s regional geospatial products (SeutuData, SeutuRuutu, SeutuRamava, and Oskari services) and experience with geospatial datasets handling (FME, Geoserver, PostGIS) are valued.
