
Python Software Engineer
A Fixed Income Global Macro fund is seeking a Middle Office Python Developer to join their team and play a critical role in building and supporting valuations and live PnL systems. This individual will primarily cover US trading hours, ensuring seamless operations for traders and resolving any issues related to trade booking and valuations. The salary on offer is up to $250k total compensation. Candidates will be required to be in the New York office 3 days per week. Key Responsibilities include developing and maintaining Middle Office systems for PnL and valuations, providing real-time support during US trading hours, troubleshooting trade booking and valuation-related issues, working closely with traders and operations teams, and building scalable, efficient, and high-performance software solutions. Requirements include strong Python development skills, proficiency in C#, 5+ years of experience in software engineering within a Hedge Fund or financial services environment, deep understanding of Fixed Income products, prior experience in Middle Office development, willingness to provide on-call support during US hours, end-to-end development experience, and experience with valuations or fund valuations is a plus.
