Geotechnical Engineer for Agnico Eagle Finland Oy, stationed at the Kittilä mine, focusing on ensuring safe and efficient management of tailings sands ponds, construction, and water management as part of the ETW (Environment, Tailings & Water Management) department. Key duties include maintaining dam safety monitoring, reporting and ongoing development; coordinating plans to ensure geotechnical solutions are up-to-date and align with best practices for safe pond construction and stable operation; coordinating regulatory liaison and compliance, inspections related to dams and pond areas, and reporting; daily on-site work at the mine and a permanent contract. We expect prior operational experience in dam safety, ponds and water management; proactive collaboration with various stakeholders; a university degree in a relevant field; and fluency in Finnish and English.
