Responsibilities
- Identify hazards and coordinate risk assessments
- Plan, develop, and monitor risk assessments
- Plan and conduct site inspections and assess safety levels
- Investigate accidents and near-misses and follow up corrective actions
- Act as health, safety and environmental lead within teams
- Develop environmental plans and promote environmental responsibility in production
- Plan and deliver safety training and inductions
- Maintain and develop safety documentation, reporting and inspection practices
- Promote learning from safety observations and drive continuous improvement
- Collaborate with stakeholders including customers and authorities on safety matters
- Foster safety culture with business units and personnel
- Support continuous improvement programs and safety objectives
