We are hiring a System Administrator for Lapin yliopisto's IT services in the Lapland University Consortium. The role is permanent and starts around 14 September 2026 or as agreed. The employment relationship is with the University of Lapland and the work location is on campus in Rovaniemi or at the Lapland UAS campuses in Kemi or Tornio. You will maintain and develop IAM/IDM solutions as part of the Continuous ICT Services team, working with user accounts, access rights, authentication solutions and system integrations, and participate in cloud services development, security strengthening and deployment of new services. You will join a newly starting IDM project and act as a systems expert in incident resolution and as a support to the IT service desk, in close cooperation with Redu IT services. Additional strengths include IAM/IGA/IDM experience, knowledge of authentication and single sign-on (SAML, OpenID Connect, OAuth), cloud service experience and security understanding, automation skills (PowerShell/SQL), and experience in higher education IT services.
