Saamelaiskäräjät is seeking a fixed-term restaurant worker for Ravintola Čaiju in Sajoks. The restaurant operates as a lunch cafe and cafe, and also handles coffee and meals for meetings and events at Sajoks. The staff include a permanent chef responsible for daily operations and a restaurant worker. The temporary restaurant worker will have duties including customer service, preparation of cafe and restaurant products, catering for meetings and events, and assisting with housekeeping tasks. The employee will be part of the Sajoksen service unit team, working closely with other restaurant staff. The position starts as soon as possible for 12 months with 29–36 h 15 min per week (80–100%). Working hours are mostly weekdays 8–16, with a four-month probation. Requirements: suitable education and Sámi language skills; hygiene passport; alcohol service permit is beneficial. English language ability, flexibility, and good customer service are required. Salary is determined according to the Sámi Parliament pay scale VI/III (base salary 2127.68 €/month) plus a 24% Sámi region allowance and experience-based increments.
