Early Childhood Social Worker

The position is in the Ylästö day care unit in Vantaa. The varhaiskasvatuksen sosionomi works as a member of a multidisciplinary team, planning, implementing, and evaluating pedagogical activities with other professionals. You will be responsible for collaboration with families, promoting inclusivity and children's well-being, and guiding children, families, and guardians in daily life. The unit is a 6-group day care with close connection to Ylästö school; the work includes cooperation with a teaching professional and a childminder in a 2–4 year old group. We value social skills, sense of community, and child participation. The work culture emphasizes joint development, and use of ProVaka model to support children’s social skills.
