A personal assistant is sought for a woman living in a detached house in Vantaa, Finland. The duties include assisting with daily chores such as cleaning (vacuuming, floor cleaning) and home maintenance activities like lawn mowing and snow removal. The role also involves shopping and pursuing hobbies at home and outside the home when needed. Working hours are 0–30 hours per week, for example 2–6 hours on a couple of days per week, totaling up to 106 hours per month. You may influence your own working times, typically between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. on weekdays and occasionally Saturdays. If snow removal is needed, the start could be earlier. In your free time, you may engage in a wide range of activities such as crafts, painting, gardening (small greenhouse), and some renovating, carpentry, and baking. Experience related to carefree living in a detached house and other work experience beyond caregiving is considered an asset. A reference would be a plus. Tasks may be divided among several assistants depending on interest and competence, indoors or outdoors. In accordance with the Act on Social and Health Care, applicants working with elderly or disabled persons must present a police certificate from 1 January 2025 onwards. The certificate must be obtained electronically from the Legal Register Centre by the applicant. Sufficient vaccination coverage according to THL is an absolute requirement (flu; COVID and varicella either contracted or vaccinated). Odorless and animal-free environment is also mandatory; there are no smells or animals here, so the environment is excellent for someone with allergies. Training will be arranged. I travel by myself. Bus access from Kivistö station, and the driveway can accommodate a car. The Heta association wage is paid by the Northwest/Uusimaa welfare region.
