Early Childhood Education Teacher

This permanent position is for a varhaiskasvatuksen opettaja at the Tiedonjyvän day care in Vantaa. The day care operates within Jokiniemi Learning Campus, in a dedicated building adjacent to Jokiniemi School and Gymnasium, located near Hiekkaharju and Tikkurila railway stations with good transport connections. The role is part of a three-educator team and the setting emphasizes a calm, playful, and safe operating culture, with a focus on attentive, family-valuing care and a warm, inclusive learning environment. You will contribute to developing positive pedagogy within ProVaka (a positively group-based early childhood education). We expect an open, tolerant, and committed attitude toward work with diverse families. The daily work includes interacting with children of various ages, planning and implementing activities, and collaborating with colleagues to create a supportive learning atmosphere. Salary: monthly pay of 3129.71–3234 EUR, with allowances of 15 EUR/month for qualifying teacher qualifications and 37.88 EUR/month for a master's degree; experience-based pay rising 3–8%. The contract is full-time with a 6-month probation period. The work hours are 38h15min per week, typically 7:30–16:30.
