Business controller / quality manager – IS Works and Ilmastointi Salminen We are seeking a combined business controller and quality manager who will oversee quality work and financial reporting for both companies and act as project lead in the upcoming production control and financial administration system migration. IS Works and Ilmastointi Salminen are part of Kotera Group, employing about 800 people. Ilmastointi Salminen specializes in HVAC contracting, maintenance and industrial services; IS Works is a versatile subcontracting machine shop specializing in demanding welding and machining. The role combines maintaining and developing quality systems and taking on business-controlling tasks, as well as leading the implementation of new production control and financial administration systems in both companies. The role is central to improving operations in both entities. The ideal candidate will have experience with quality systems (e.g., ISO 9001) in an industrial setting and with financial reporting and monitoring, plus a track record of leading system projects. We value structured, long-term working methods, good collaboration, and the ability to operate smoothly across two companies and various stakeholders. Responsibilities
- Finance: financial reporting for both companies and monthly reporting to management and group; budgeting, forecasting and profitability monitoring; post-calculation of projects and financial tracking of projects; development of financial metrics and reporting practices
- Quality: maintenance and development of quality systems in IS Works and Ilmastointi Salminen; handling quality deviations, root-cause analyses and corrective actions; maintaining certifications and coordinating audits (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, EN 1090, ISO 3834-2)
- System project: tendering and procurement of new production control and financial administration systems and leading the implementation project and scheduling; onboarding personnel to new systems and quality practices; collaboration with production, procurement, finance and management on quality, financial and system matters
Requirements
- Experience as quality manager or similar in industrial or mechanical engineering sector
- Familiarity with quality systems and standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001; EN 1090 and ISO 3834-2 is advantageous
- Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and profitability monitoring
- Interest or experience in leading system projects such as production control or financial administration system migrations
- Strong IT skills; ERP/financial systems proficiency
- Analytical and structured work style; ability to implement and drive changes
- Good communication and collaboration with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and operate across two companies
