Social Media Manager

Social Media Manager at VR is responsible for owning the company’s social media strategy across channels, growing the presence of VR’s social media, and driving content performance. The role includes leading the overall social media strategy for VR, coordinating content planning and execution for platforms such as Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn, and collaborating with marketing, communications, business, and external partners. The manager will work to ensure campaigns and topics in VR marketing appear as brand-consistent, engaging content across social networks. The position also encompasses developing processes and operating models for social media, community management practices, audience and trend analysis, and reporting on results with improvement recommendations. The role serves as a social media expert within the organization and supports cross-team collaboration. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience in social media leadership or a similar expert role, demonstrated ability to grow channels and produce effective content, strong analytical and KPI skills, content calendar management experience, and the ability to bridge creative thinking with data-driven decision making. Fluency in Finnish and strong English is required; Swedish is considered an advantage. A suitable university degree in marketing, communications, or business is preferred.
