About the role

We are seeking energetic, goal-oriented and eager-to-learn salespeople for a permanent position as part of our motivating work community. As Sector Alarm’s salesperson you play a truly important role – helping to secure people’s homes, bringing peace of mind to their daily lives and, in the best case, saving lives. The demand for home security services continues to grow. We offer consumers and small businesses Finland’s most highly regarded service-based alarm system. Our customers’ Trustpilot rating is an excellent 4.8 / 5, which clearly demonstrates satisfied customers. Your day in brief - Working hours: Typically weekdays 13:00–21:00. You can work full-time or part-time, which means three consecutive full workdays. - Start of the day: Your day begins with your team at our sales office, where you practice different stages of the sales process under a supervisor and set daily goals. - Towards customers: From the office you head to different residential areas, usually with your supervisor. On arrival you contact residents independently and arrange meetings at their homes, often at a separate time. You meet dozens of new people daily; the work is active and mobile – you accumulate over 10,000 steps per day. - Meetings at customers’ homes: You sit with customers and discuss how our service can secure their everyday life. Listening is as important as talking in this role. You handle sales and a separate installation team takes care of devices installation. You can thus focus entirely on understanding customers’ needs and offering suitable solutions. - End of day: In the evening you gather again with the team to review the day’s learnings, share successes and reflect on the day. What skills will you develop as a salesperson? Sales work builds confidence, negotiation skills and the ability to engage with different people – skills useful in all areas of life. Every customer encounter is an opportunity to grow – days are full of variety, challenges and achievements that make you a better salesperson. In this job the right attitude matters: proactiveness, courage and willingness to meet challenges go far. They say door-to-door selling is the king of sales – if you excel here, you can excel anywhere. How we support your success - Training and coaching: You’ll receive thorough onboarding and ongoing coaching to become the best possible salesperson. Daily sales drills and supervisor mentorship support your development. You will also progress through Sector Way Academy’s five-step sales training program, taking you systematically toward becoming a top salesperson. - Team spirit and ongoing support: Although the job is autonomous, you’re not alone. Our strong team spirit is visible in everyday life and our active chat culture: we celebrate successes together and help is always available. Your supervisor will stand beside you, helping you set ambitious goals and build a clear plan to achieve them. They will provide feedback and guide you toward activities that advance your goals. - Career opportunities: Our growth opportunities are genuinely in your hands. As we grow, we offer interesting career opportunities in Finland and internationally. Many of our salespeople have progressed to sales manager roles in less than a year, and in 2025 50% of our sales leadership positions were filled internally. Even if your career with us ends, you gain valuable experience that opens doors to any career path. -Contests and prizes: We celebrate success with sales competitions and challenges, with rewards for achievements. High performers also have opportunities to earn places on memorable training trips abroad. We compete in a positive environment and always encourage each other to excel. Together we go toward shared goals – and have fun along the way!
