Dalla Valle Oy is seeking buyers for berries and mushrooms during the season, for customers at fixed points and for mobile buying on a panel van. The team is looking for diligent, upbeat and customer‑service oriented workers for the berry and mushroom season. Work may concentrate on mobile buying by van or at fixed purchasing points in Joensuu, Outokumpu or Sotkamo, depending on the candidate’s skills and the season’s needs. Working hours follow store hours and route schedule. The season typically runs July to September. The job is practical and varied seasonal work combining customer service, receiving and handling of products and daily operations of the purchasing point. Duties include: purchasing and receiving berries and mushrooms; customer service at purchasing point or on a mobile route; inspection and weighing of products; cash register operation and cash handling; handling and moving products; taking care of the daily operations of the fixed purchasing point or driving the designated mobile route by van, starting from and returning to Sotkamo; possible transport of products by van with loading and unloading. The position requires careful, responsible and brisk work attitude and good customer service mindset; willingness to engage in practical and partly physical work, flexibility in seasonal work days and commitment for the entire season. A valid B‑license is also required for van work. Desirable is knowledge of natural products and previous experience in customer service, purchasing or receiving work and a hygienic certificate.
