Grano is a Finnish multi-industry company that implements marketing and communication solutions to enhance sales, branding, and results. We employ about 700 people across Finland, with all production in Finland. We are looking for a person to help us take the next step in how AI, automation, data, and analytics are transformed into better management, smoother processes, and more impactful daily work. The AI and Automation Manager will lead an 8-person expert team developing production automation and data analytics solutions. The role involves implementing Grano's AI strategy, strengthening data-driven decision-making, and developing operational models where people, data, processes, and technology support each other. You will ensure that AI, automation, and data become practical tools for better decision-making, clearer processes, and measurable impact, rather than just experiments or strategy slides. This is not a purely technical hands-on role nor a traditional production management role. Success depends on your ability to combine people, processes, insights, and technology into practical change. You will lead, coach, and develop your team with a facilitative approach, and help transform data and analytics into understandable tools for leadership, development, and prioritization. You will develop processes, workflows, and daily operations using AI, automation, and data, and help prioritize development work to ensure the most important issues progress. You will build a shared direction among strategy, business, production, data, and technical experts, and ensure responsible, controlled, and measurable AI utilization. You will connect internal development to customer value, competitiveness, and Grano's future operating model. The ideal background includes experience in consulting, process development, data-driven management, automation, AI utilization, change projects, production, or operational development. You do not need to be a deep technical AI expert but must understand technological possibilities and limitations, be able to structure complex entities, and translate strategic directions into practical actions. We value those who can build structure, clarity, and prioritization, understand the role of data and analytics in business, have experience in process and operational model development (e.g., Lean, continuous improvement), understand how AI and automation can support daily work, can discuss technical matters fluently, lead digital development projects, act as a bridge between business, production, data, technology, and management, and are interested in responsible AI use and leadership development. Previous leadership experience is beneficial but not mandatory. You can succeed even if you have led projects, expert units, development programs, or client assignments without formal managerial responsibility.
